Symptom
The Laserfiche Scan dialog does not load properly, or closes automatically. If the Laserfiche Client is not open, you may receive one of the following errors when launching the Laserfiche scan dialog from Affinity.
"Failed to connect to Laserfiche Client"
"Connection to Laserfiche is disconnected or from an earlier version"
Resolution
This issue was resolved in Affinity v.2.1.35, released February 19, 2010. Users do not need to open the Laserfiche Client before initiating a search or scan operation.
